Cards

I have an enormous bin of scrap papers that have been used in several different projects over the years. I made a goal to use up some of these scraps. I made three cards all from scrap papers. It is challenging at times to stretch my imagination and come up with something new.

My next challenge is going to be making some fancy fold cards and then also create all the items I want to enter into this year's Canfield Fair!

Mother's Day Cards

I think two years is a very long time not to blog.

But then again, I had a baby with a CHD and life will never be the same again.

I tried a new water color technique on my mother's day cards.

Card Challenge June

A friend and I make card challenges every so often and this was the first one this year.
I created these cards for our challenge. They are easel cards.
From the scrap of the original cards I made these cute shaker cards. What a blast!

Card Challenge

During this summer I decided that I wanted to challenge myself to build up my card collection. Mainly because I was too tired to make some birthday card this year and bought some instead. It really killed me, so I decided that I need to work on cards during my spare time.

These cards were made from scraps that I had in a drawer.
I just reached in the drawer and pulled out 4 small scraps and then began to place them and this is what it became. I use my We R Memory Keepers Ticket Stub Punch.

Both cards were given as Wedding cards this year. So much for building up my stash. Lol!

Father-in-laws Father's Day Card

My dad's Father's day card.

Easter Cards

One of my favorite things to do is to make cards for my in-laws.
These were their Easter Cards this past year.
This card was made with Jillibean Soup paper. Love the ribbon!!!!

I used my CTMH Artiste Critcut Cartridge and made a swing card for my Sister-in-law. This was so much fun!

Another Card Challenge

Here's the latest card challenge.  You find a paint swatch on pinterest and then use the colors on a card. We have a blast and as a result we build up our card stash!
Here is the paint swatch.

Card Challenge #1

I have been doing several card challenges recently and here is the first one.
We go on Pinterest and find a paint pallet we like and then someone chooses a sentiment and we make cards to trade!

Paint Pallet that we choose.

I created a waterfall card.

Birthday & Father's Day Cards

It has been awhile since I have completed a project..... ha ha (I have a ton started...just not completed)

Here is the Father's Day Card that I mad for Mark's Dad

I just love it. I believe on a previous post I explained what kind of paper I used and everything.
I used tie brads from the eyeletoutlet! Love them!

Also here is my Mother-In-Law's Birthday Card
And I just found out that I forgot to take a picture of my sister-in-law's card! Oh, well..... It was a beautiful card that had butterflies stamped on it and ultra fine glitter and the works. So much fun!

Craft Show Previews...Continued...

One of the greatest perks to being a teacher in Ohio is........ Inclement Weather Days!!!!

I was hard at work in my craft room ........... I was really worried that I wouldn't have enough stuff done to sell at the craft show.............But when I put my mind to it..............I can really get things done.

I have had a blast yet again today....working 4 hours in the craft room. Most of the time I was coming up with ideas... and organizing...but I think that these cards are beautiful!
