I just couldn't sleep last night so, I decided to start making my mini album in an altoids tin.

I wanted it to look antique....Here is what I came up with.

August Stick Pin Swap....

This month on http://minialbumscraps.ning.com/ they had a stick pin swap that I joined.

It's theme was open interpretation....State Fair and Summer Fun!

I wasn't going to join the swap because I was working on another one and I was afraid I would not get done on time, but a new found friend Merry encouraged me to join.

As I was contemplating about what to make for this stick pin swap it hit me.... What do I love most about summer fun and fairs? ICE CREAM!

I love going for a walk with my husband to the ice cream parlor down the road. We have a blast. So, I went in search of ice cream inspired beads and this is what my stick pins look like :-)

These are the first stick pins created. I just love them. They are supposed to look like ice cream cones with a little cherry one top!
Here are all three stick pins for the swap. All are supposed to resemble ice cream.

The final result.

Christmas Presents

My friend Brenda called me up and asked me to help her create special Sketch Books for her granddaughters.

This is what we came up with.

Notebook

I make little altered notebooks. This one was a Thank You card/notebook!

Envelope Albums #2

Envelope Albums

I love these little keepsakes!

I have made at least 20 of them as gifts.

This one was my first.

Altered Photo Album

I found really plain photo albums at a discount store and I just had to alter it. I made this one special for my Aunt Lorraine!

Scrapbooking Convention in Columbus!

I finally found the cord to upload pictures from my camera!

This is a picture of HelenRae, DawnaRae and Judy! We were in line an hour or more before the opening.
Here we are! My love of scrapbooking is all because of two women!

My wonderful friend Judy has been exploring the world of Swaps! She has made some really nice stick pins, atc cards, felt flowers, etc. I love seeing all her work....So, I decided I too need to swap.

I joined the following two groups:

a.) http://minialbumscraps.ning.com/
b.) http://yourpaperpantry.ning.com/

The first one is free to join and the second one costs $12.00/year.

I joined these on Monday, July 16, 2012. I completed the first swap item yesterday it only took me two days to complete. My husband loves when I am busy in the scraproom....it gives him time to conquer his video games :-)

This is the first paper clip
it turned out perfect.

I made altered paper clips in a matchbook cover.

Here are some shots that I took while starting the creating process.

This is the first batch of clips.

One of the hardest things to do was to find the correct dimensions for the cover. I usually can go by what is on other websites, but my paper clips were so large that I had to create mine from scratch.

Inside the matchbook cover. The
paperclips all nestled in their
beds.

I know that I am my own worse critic, but I really don't think I did a great job on the bird one. All the others are pretty good. My favorites are the roses and butterflies.

The butterfly paper clips. Too Cute!

I loved making these, so much so that I will be delievering these to the ladies that I visit teach in August! Hopefully they can use altered paper clips. I know I can! <3

The Kitchen Table Project! I bought the table at a Garage Sale for $25.00. I painted it and reupolstered the chairs for $30.00. Not too bad!
